Motivo to Showcase Latest in Autonomous Technology at 2019 World Ag Expo
Automated Vegetable Seedling Transplanting Among Technologies in Development
PRESS RELEASE | FEBRUARY 4, 2019
Motivo Engineering announced that their 2019 World Ag Expo display would focus on their recent work with Greenheart Farms to improve the efficiency of automated vegetable seedling transplanting. “Our team can’t wait to get back to Tulare to showcase our latest work, including our recent project with Greenheart Farms. Agriculture has been the fastest growing segment of our business, and that is a result of visionary partners and our ability to connect with industry leaders at venues like the World Ag Expo.” says Praveen Penmetsa, CEO Motivo Engineering.
Motivo will have multiple daily demos of the Greenheart automated vegetable seedling transplanting system along with other autonomous tech projects in space U38. Customers seeking meetings, and media seeking interviews with Motivo are encouraged to schedule in advance. The World Ag Expo runs February 12-14, 2019 in Tulare, California.
Motivo has been working behind the scenes on agricultural projects for many years before going public at the 2018 World Ag Expo with their HARVEST tractor, a Motivo concept that was developed and deployed for testing through a Powering Agriculture Grant from USAID. Motivo was recently awarded a patent for HARVEST, US 10,046,641 B2, for a vehicle in the form of a tractor that features a Mobile Power Conversion and Distribution System. The HARVEST tractor will be in the Motivo display.
